John Clarkson

John Clarkson

John has a background in molecular biology and significant experience in healthcare and diagnostics businesses. He co-founded Molecular Sensing plc where he was Commercial Director and then Technical Director. Following the successful development of their DNA analysis system, he joined the US-based diagnostics company Osmetech plc when they acquired Molecular Sensing in 2004. John led the formation of Atlas Genetics in 2005 and was founding Chief Executive.


Anna Dixon

Anna Dixon

Anna, Scientific Project Lead at Atlas for the Precise study, has worked at Atlas since 2007 following a PhD in human genetics and now leads and manages several research projects. This includes the development of novel assays for sexually transmitted infections, hospital acquired infections and oncology as well as research activities aimed at the development of new technologies for rapid nucleic acid tests. A recent focus has been the development of assays for point mutations and SNPs.


Marc Green

Marc Green

Marc has 20 years’ experience working in the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) sector. He held both laboratory-based and managerial positions within R&D before moving into marketing. Marc has worked for several commercial IVD companies, including Axis-Shield, and has experience of nucleic acid, clinical chemistry & immunoassay IVD technologies. Marc joined Atlas Genetics in 2007 and now manages the company’s commercial activities.


Victoria Hall

Victoria Hall

Senior Scientist at Atlas Genetics. She has 13 years of experience developing and implementing genetic technologies within the NHS working for the National Genetics Reference Laboratory and Southampton University. Her research interests include developing new point of care technologies in healthcare.
